Toronto, New Rental Building along Scarborough’s Golden Mile

SGL has been retained by the owner of the lands along Scarborough’s Golden Mile to be a part of a team of inter-disciplinary consultants working collaboratively on the submission of Zoning By-law Amendment and Site Plan Control applications to facilitate the development of a new rental building. Golden Mile is a stretch of existing commercial and employment uses along Eglinton Avenue East that is envisioned to become a large new, complete community, planned to accommodate transit-supportive densities and a mix of uses along the planned Eglinton Crosstown LRT corridor. SGL is preparing a planning justification report and associated housing issues report, a draft Zoning By-law Amendment and is providing landscape architecture services to support the proposed development.
