Hwy 400/88 Employment Secondary Plan Study

Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury

SGL was retained by the landowners group to conduct a Secondary Plan Study, in association with the Town, to create a 500 hectare strategic Employment Area centred around the Highway 400 and County Road 88 interchange.

The designation of employment lands outside of an established settlement area was identified as a key issue.  This project culminated in a Minister's Zoning Order approving an Employment Area and Economic District outside of a settlement area.  SGL gave evidence on the Secondary Plan, which was approved by the Ontario Municipal Board.
